I finished Cleopatra and said I was through with sci-fi, aliens and outer space. But Joss Whedon is a kind of genius and my agent said read it. I said, "That vampire guy? No!" But all the elements of human drama were there. Yes, this takes place in the future, but there are no mutants or alients so I said sign me up. And I will be in the upcoming movie too.
