When it appeared that I had a shot to play Niobe, it just seemed perfect. I had been doing the kind of action that these movies demand (and no problem with the “love interest.”) So there was no question of my suitability in the role. But it didn’t quite work out that way. The Brothers had already committed to Jada Pinkett Smith. But it was still such a thrill to be part of it.
